Nick,

I pay $80 to shorten and balance a shaft.

Subject: H190 Tailshafts

Listers,

I have put a Nissan Gazelle H190 Diff into my Stanza, I now require a tailshaft to suit it.

The Stanza length here is 1195mm (uni to uni) and I need something about 25mm shorter.

The diff input flange is 100mm dia. compared with 90mm for most Datsuns.

I have checked plenty of cars, probably my last hope for an OEM solution is the Datsun 1600 Station wagon tailshaft. I need to know what the length is from uni centre to uni centre, and if it is any good where can I get one.

Also, how much will I be up for if I get the Stanza one modified?

Thanks in advance,

Nick
