Hi chris the VN V8 rad fitted with few mods it was perfect in width as it
just fitted between the rails It is a little high but still clears the
bonnet. I have made little alloy brackets to keep it in place up top the
bottom just has the standard rubber with a peg that locates on the two holes
I drilled in the rails.I fitted new tanks to mine as I wanted it to be a
single pass not duel pass radiator plus the inlet had to be changed from
drivers side top to passenger side top.Hope this helps unsure how you would
go in a 1600. I didnt have to chop any of my original rad support out only
for the intercooler plumbing
cheers Andrew
