Nick,

Doesn't the brake warning light come on only in the start position, most cars without puters did it that way. The Stanza brake warning light from memory isn't actually a low fluid level but a warning that you have a pressure difference between the front and rear circuits in the cylinder. Have a look and see if yours has a switch half way along the cylinder. If it is this type they used to jam if you have a dirty cylinder (inside) and can also jam if you only bleed one circuit and not the other.

regards
Terry

Subject: brake warning light

List,
How does the brake warning light work?
There is a plunger sensor in the fluid reservoir, but how does the light come on when the ignition is switched on but the motor is not running?
(I don't have a wiring diagram)

My warning light is on during normal driving, I don't know why though?
Thanks,
Nick
