I had a look though my datsun workshop manuals and I am now convinced it is
a 1600 SSS head.

The L16 SSS 36cc was usually stamped 219.

Trevor,
I have sent the head down South after being contacted by a guy who was
restoring a genuine SSS and was missing the SSS head. I am trying to
remember the number on the side but Terry should be able to tell you. I
think it was 819 or 219. (Help Terry) The main difference is the porting and
valve size. The inlet port size is similar to a 200B as I used to run the
200B extractor gasket. The inlet valves are also larger than the stock 1600
ones.
