What about fitting aircon and ducting it to the rear screen? You get the
demister and the aircon in summer!
I have an aircon system out of an 83/4 skyline which looks like it should
fit into the 1600 quite well. These have very squat plastic ducts that hug
the tunnel under the console to portholes at the rear of the console.
Wouldn't be too hard to extend to outlets on the rear parcel shelf . You
need to have thicker sound deadening around the ducts to allow the ducts to
travel under the rear carpet then under the rear seat to the rear shelf.
