Once again I turn to my faceless friends on the internet for help...
Well I have just put together my engine and attatched everything to it,
replaced the starter motor, alternator, battery etc and connected up the
wires but to my horror there was no power when trying to start, not even any
lights on the dash, no parkers or headlights...
I have checked all the conections to the battery and they are solid, double
checked that the alternator is wired correctly and the same for the starter
motor. the battery has power and power is geting to the starter motor but
that seems to be it.
I have since played with a relay that is installed on the drivers strut
tower between the ignition, battery and headlights and now I can't figure
out which wire goes to which plug. I know it was stupid to just swap things
around but it seemed like a good idea at the time :(
It would probably be too hard to try and trouble shoot this one over email
so I was wondering if anyone out there would come and take a look at my car
and give me a hand ... ??? refreshments can be arranged if necessary ;)
