that's exactly the info i was wanting, thanks everyone. so rule of thumb is try to buy
late 60's imported models rather then the aussie version? see the issue i have is i
have a stock, though rather good looking 75 celica (her and i can be seen at
www.geocities.com/ta22celica/) and i don't know whether i should strip that bare and
start again aiming for looks at 13sec/qtr's. that's one side of the coin the other is
the more obvious. the simple yet extremely effective look and power of the 'dato' has
me hooked. i have managed to learn enough about the 'silly car' but i want to know as
much bout the early model datsun's as possible. what do you guys think. if i had ten
grand in my pocket what kind of datsun could i be driving??
