The only differnce in cam cover is the centre lugs to hold the choke cables.
I think the different ways the cam cover is writin is more to do with the year.
Reasons why,
The early 510's have Datsun 1600 OHC and a chrome filler cap,these ones have
thin lines on the top.And are only found on 1969 and before.
1970 on have wider lines and plastic screw on oil filler caps.
