Hi Trev,
Had a bit of an 'ordinary' day actually.
Basically it rained all day. the electronic Timing was causing the
organisers problems which slowed down the running of the sprints as well.
I ended up fitting the locked diff and only ran 7psi boost, but the car was
still like driving on a knife edge. Ready to turn around on itself at an
moment :(
The best run I had was during the 1 hour 'practice' (un-timed)
I really only got two timed runs ( 57's , yeah shit house) before the engine
induced enough water to 'sink' the Mass Air Flow meter causing it to shut
down.
I've since enclosed the air cleaner to prevent this in the future.
I can't wait to have a crack on a dry circuit with full boost.
I'll never forget the look on the face of the guy driving a Super Sedan as I
past him like he was going backwards down the long straight :)
