They could well have had different ratios depending on where it was made -
many Nissans are geared differently for Japan and I haven't got domestic
specs for the 240K. The same thing applies for the 1600, the Aus version is
one of the few to have a 3.7 diff in the 4 speed model.

The stock diff for a 240K Auto Aus model was 3.454.

i had a 240K manual once and the autos were 4.11 according to that
