Earlier 70's HP data is SAE. DIN ratings started sometime in the 80's, the difference is in the order of 15%. A L16 with 96 bhp SAE equates to about 80 hp DIN, an L18SSS with 114hp SAE is around 100 hp DIN. The L18SSS still compares favourably with the CA20 but it's not 20 hp better.

The CA20-S: (1974cc) OHC 4cyl, 8 valve, twin spark plug, 2barrell d/d carb. Came in Bluebird series III - 98hp.

The CA20-E: (1974cc) OHC 4cyl, 8 valve, twin spark plug, EFI. Came in Gazelle (1985) - 104hp

But why bother with a CA????? 'Cause the standard 180B SSS with the L18 (1770) + twin SUs -110hp
