Malcom, If you were building a fast non-turbo L series these manifold wouldn't be much good. My inlet ports are much bigger than the manifold's runners. But with the turbo setup, it doesn't seem to make any difference at all. I chose the u67 head because of it's open chamber. I had my exhaust manifold custom made. It cost me $400 and i'm very happy with it. (Except for one weld the bastards missed.) Soon to be fixed. :) The only trouble it's given me is that the weight of it has pulled a thread out of the head. I havn't decided to helicoil it or to put bigger bolts in. I'm learning quick. :)
