Hello All, I am new to the list, so apologies if this kind of question is a bit newbie. I am currently trying to sell my beetle which is wonderful at corners and getting comments from 14 year olds, but not much else, and getting a 260Z. I have narrowed it down to a 260 because I like the old shape, and I dont think I will be able to get a 240 for the ammount of money I have to spend. What I would like to know is what are common problems with these cars that I should look for when buying? I know that a car this old will have problems anyway, but I would like to be able to spot them when I am buying. I have been told that they rust arround the tailgate area and in the bottoms of the doors and that sometimes the door hinges go bad but not much else. Can anyone give me other common problems?
