Hi Fergy, As far as locks go there are some good ones around - i've seen some that look a bit like Falcon smart locks. I thought about these but the problem is thieves don't worry about locks around Canberra, the trick way into a car seems to be a 1/2 brick through the rear quarter vent and judging by the amount of glass on the ground in most of our car parks it's a serious problem. Apparently Canberra is the car thieves capital and we're going to pay for it through higher insurance premiums real soon. I got as letter from my insurance company the other day and they've given me 3 months to fit a 3 way immobiliser instead of the single ignition one that's fitted now, otherwise bye bye, I don't even get the option of paying more money.
regards Terry (ps I dropped your xmember back to you the other day, apologies for the delay) -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Fergy Sent: Thursday, 31 January 2002 8:55 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: car broken into today Listers, Talking about car alarms and other security/kill switch systems to prevent our cars from bieng "nicked".
