People I've spoken to have said good things about the Solex locks, I know Rare Spares sell them and also Classic Datsun Motorsports for around $100 US. The Datto locks are about the worst I've seen esp. once they've worn plus they are ridiculously easy to hotwire, once the connector is pulled off the ign barrel (about 1 second). Kill switches, good alarm, steering lock sure helps. Also some late model Ford (ouch!) locks can be used apparently, though the solexes are a lot easier I would think. I've had my car broken into/ vandalised by low-life scum and it's about the most frustrating thing on earth. Sorry to hear this, good your alarm saved the day .
