Personally, if I had a really nice shell I wouldn't really want to take
to it with a hammer, but if its less than perfect like my car, your mate might
not care too much :) If you use a Z bellhousing, you can swap the engine mounts
left for right to tilt the motor up a bit so the inlet manifold will
clear.
hi, i got my z18 top end for my l20b block from
errol smith.....]
he will also HAVE
to bash in the right hand shocker tower , so that the efi
manifold will clear it.
i can email you some pics of the
engine bay if you want. as i already have this engine combo up and
running with a t3 turbo..and z24 crank.
