I have been away for the week on holidays so I missed this thread... or I would have jumped in earlier.....   Chris still owes me a full Z18ET head, Inlet and Exhaust manifolds and turbo to replace the BURNT one he sent me.... He kept promising it but it never came..... He didn't have email when I was dealing with him and the phone calls chasing he up were costing me more a small fortune... I lost track of how many times both Chris and his wife promised and failed to deliver... What we did get was send over two shipments with us being stung with the extra duty/ freight etc etc...   Still waiting James           maldat wrote: You know the guts,I've only heard one side. Chris was paid cash in advance through a bank transfer in April 2001 (just after I was over last time) for a consignment of stock that still has not been sent.The same problem occurred the previous time I dealt with him as well. I believe James Fitness also had the same problem with a shipment of Z18et?s he bought from Chris. I am already in contact with the Department of Fair Trading in Wellington about this matter. I warn any other persons dealing with persons over the net. You often get a lot less than you pay for with these overseas deals, if you are lucky enough to get anything at all.
