Mick,   I thought you may have meant this (just after I hit send)   Changing jets is easy, just undo the wing nuts and the mains are exposed. You're as sea level so going up the mountains just makes you run a bit rich which isn't a major problem for a short time, if you were racing then one heat range hotter would do the trick. I have never really felt the need to change jets for altitude but even if i did... how easy is it? One thing that was very noticeable was the wide variety of settings with all of the different engine configs, altitudes etc meant that no two set-ups were the same.
