The three prong might be connected to the WOT and Idle switches. Did you say it was from a VL? I didn't think they had that style. Could be something I can use to replace my one which has no variable resistance.

I'm using the TPS for throttle inrichment and a the in built map sensor to dectect the load. It has variable resistance across the red and white wires coming out of the tps but I want to know what the three prong plug on the front of it is used for. Should i risk taking it apart for closer inspection?

Are you using the TPS, with a MAP, to get rid of the AFM? I think these types of TPS are just tell you Idle and WOT, they are switches not sensors. Meaning they aren't suitable.

Hey guys and gals,

I've got an RB30 throttle body and TPS. It has the three prongs to accept a tps plug on the front of it and also has a lead coming out of it with a red, white and black wire.I need to know which to hook up to the wolf 3d. I am thinking this is the positive, earth and signal wire that I need to hook up to the computer but if this is so, what is the front plug ( which I have seen on every other factory TPS) used for?

Cheers
