What are the prices for CA18DE (FWD) and CA18DET (FWD) front cuts? How difficult was the turbo conversion? I assume you need a half cut to get the computer and loom as they would be different.

yerr i would put, a front wheel CA18DET,
they are alot cheaper than a RWD version,
i know of a guy up here in brisbane with a few fwd versions

I have a friend who has an manual N/A 89 EXA.� The motor has just died.� He is looking for options to get back on the road.�

Can anyone tell me the pros and cons for the following?

1. Get a rebuild kit and rebuild it.
2. Put in a replacement motor from an importer.
3. Do a turbo conversion from a CA18DET front-cut.

He is not doing the work himself, so any recommendations for installers is welcome too.� He is on the Gold Coast. Any comments welcome, thank you.
