That is not the case. The turbo box has the same ratios for 1, 2, 3, & 4,
but a taller 5th gear than the N/A (0865 vs 0.78). Late turbo boxes had the
71C sized gears but still the 71B bearings on input and countershaft.

Hi,

Someone recently told me that the FJ20 TURBO gearbox has much closer ratios
than the regular FJ20 box.
Is this true?
Anyone know the ratios of both boxes?

Cheers
Rich
