aaron, i dont think you will have a problem with the setup you are talking about. i would get another opinion first but i belive you will be fine. as chirs howard is running a l20 bottom end with A87 head with a 72 degree cam and a huge amount of lift. something like 590' and he has no problems. he also has the 44mm 280zx inlet valves.
hope this helps. ryan >From: "Aaron Thorp" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: "Datsun Mailing List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: L20 Question >Date: Mon, 22 Apr 2002 19:18:56 +1000 > >Hi Listers, > >i was just wondering, if i have an A87 Head with 280zx valves and stage 2 >camtech cam, forged pistons and the head has been shaven, should i have to >relieve the pistons so they clear the valves or should it be alright? i >have a bad feeling that they are going to touch if i give too big of a >boot?? > >Ta, > >Aaron Thorp >[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
