Check ignition timing and advance operation.Next check the float level
in the carb and the needle and seat for blockages/wear. That would do for
starters.

Subject: Flat spot
My L20B Stanza has developed a flat
spot or hesitation when accelerating hard. I have a 32/36 DGAV Weber which I
stripped and cleaned and put a carby kit through before installing 5 months
ago. Ran smooth as silk but now has this nasty flat spot. No backfire or other
symptoms, can anyone suggest a cure?
Cheers, Jim.
