Richard,   I've done it twice with an integrated system and once with an under dash (glove box actually). The under dash one we used S1 Bluey plumbing and it was a snack - I ripped it out though when R12 went off the market as the cost to upgrade it to the new sh*t (R134a) was prohibitive and it wouldn't fit with the FJ when it gets stuffed into the road car. I used a Stanza Series 1 integrated once and it wasn't too bad to fit - but it's not worth using the old stuff these days. I'd be looking at a N14/15 Pulsar or similar as a donor.
