My tip (i worked as a car detailer for a year) is get a starchy cloth (reasonably stiff) lint free, wipe the glass with a chamois first and then scrub with the starchy cloth, works a treat. May need to repeat the steps for the first good clean. (no chemicals needed, but u can do a windex run first because the starchy cloth leaves the glass streak free)
