I am running my vacuum pipe from only runner #3 and have found no adverse effect on running of motor at all. Be sure you have no air leaks though - secure clamps on tube both ends. Also no pulsing of brakes noticed, which was suggested might be a problem. Most of vacuum is created off throttle anyway when butterflies are closed I would think. So unless you are left foot braking..........
