RE: Carb question

Sounds like a good idea:) I've used Weber 34 ADF's and 32/36 DFV's/DGAV with good results on 1600 and 1800 Engines (Fiat and Datsun) apparently  some Italian carb jets also fit Hitachi Carbs, which might help tuning (esp. once they're converted to mechanical secondaries) though I've never tried this so can't be 100%sure on that.
