Dude, Join a local car club and get the basic, level 2 CAMS licence.
I have an L20 Stanza and do Motorkhanas, Khanacrosses, Lap dashes etc... ie everything that you can do without a cage and harnesses etc.. It is a bit of fun and doesn't cost that much. The Stanza is CAMS homologated with the L20, but you will need to get it through rego somehow. Most club level events don't care what engine you have in the car, as long as everything is safe. Stanzas usually have heaps of rust, so maybe a bluebird would be a better choice.
