Hi list, Did gearbox speedo drives come in different diameters?
Got a friend installing an SR, and he's been told to replace the electronic speedo sender with one of the 'normal' speedo drives in order to connect to the standard 1600 speedo cable. But he reckons a white cog alloy carrier type wont fit, and measures 30mm in diameter, while a 28mm dia speedo drive is required??! Has anyone come across this??!
