The castlemaine rod shop do a kit for $1800. They use a supercharger off a 2
litre 6 cyl toyota. What engine are these? and run a clutch like aircon
system. Pumps 2 - 3.5 pounds of boost for an increase of 25 to 30% power. No
mod to factory computer is required.
How does supercharger boost compare to turbo boost? I would imagine that the
supercharger having no extra exhaust restrictions would be slightly more
efficent than a turbo, but they are totally different designs too. What is
the deal?
