Jason,

180B, 200B and 240K struts are shorter than late model 1600 struts and when
used with 1600 springs of the same height the front suspension will sit
around 1.5" lower. Each give a number of options for brake upgrades and as a
bonus you get larger front wheel bearings with late 180B, 200B or 240K legs.
180B struts have calliper bolt spacing of 76.2mm (3") which suit Holder
callipers, and the others use 88.9 (3.5") spacing eg Hilux, Sumitomo etc.

regards
Terry

Subject: Strut Details

What is the main advantage in running 180b struts or 200b struts in a 1600 ?

I have seen many difference setup looking at the Ozdat feature cars.

I have picke dup a 180 for nix want to know is it worthwhile keeping the
struts and other bits and peices.

Also does anyone know if the Sumitomo calipers from ther 260z will fit
either of the 180 or 200b struts.

I do not have the struts yet otherwise I would have tried already.

Cheer's
