Hi all, I just bought a 1980 sigma wagon to use as a get around car so i can do my 1600 up, but i am have a few queries that someone might be able to help me with. The engine was reco'd 25,000 kms ago and goes well but it seems to get hot very quickly. The car isn't registered so i can't take it for a drive to see if it overheats or whatever, but i did a comparison with my 1600 by starting both cars from cold and the sigma engine heated up while the 1600 was only mildly warm. The temp guage in the sigma must be buggered as even when it's warmed up the temp only reads about 2mm abouve the cold line :( I just need to know if this is normal or how to check if the engine/cooling system is okay. Also if anyone knows how to repair a sigma temp guage that would be really helpful! Cheers, Mark Firman
