maybe try gluing the pads to the piston .
there is some stuff called "anti squeal" which is a glue for this.
pretty well any auto shop should have this.

Subject: Z-18 SSS Bluebird brake parts needed?

Hi there guys, my mates little brother was given his old mans SSS 4 door Bluebird (Import model) with Z-18 turbo, disk brake rear end and IRS.
His old man just before he gave it to him, changed the rear pads.
The thing is he threw the little metal things that hold them nice and stiff in place.
I was just in it, it is shocking, the rear pads are vibrating around all over the place.
Can any one please help me out on this one.
Thanks in advance.
