Umm, his dad is really dodgy, he has allready splattered silicone everywhere and it hasn't helped. The main problem is now I have looked into more thouroughly is, the pads don't really squeel when you apply them, they rattle while you are driving it. It is horrible. The silicone seems to be to flexy and the pads rattle against the disks. Not very safe I thinks. Imagine having a pad shatter while doing 100km/h then having to hit the brakes??   Hmm scary thought, anyhows he is a nice young bloke so I thought I would try to fix it for him as he has no idea at all. This is his first car, I would hate to see him wrap himself around a pole, or even worse hit another car.   Maybee you remember Wojee, he had the FJ20 Det 1600 a while ago, well this is his brother and they arn't really speaking, so I am trying to sort it out for him.    Later. Hi there guys, my mates little brother was given his old mans SSS 4 door Bluebird (Import model) with Z-18 turbo, disk brake rear end and IRS. His old man just before he gave it to him, changed the rear pads. The thing is he threw the little metal things that hold them nice and stiff in place. I was just in it, it is shocking, the rear pads are vibrating around all over the place. Can any one please help me out on this one.
