This is a bit of a believe it or not.

I have a mate who works on cars at holdens at the end of the production
line. I was having a chat to him about the quality of aussie cars, he
told me never to buy one. He reckons that somewhere between 90-99% of
the cars he sees wont start by the time they hit the end of the line.

Once again... believe it or not. Still, im sticking with jap cars!

Our local holden dealer is the same, my perants astra has been away
close to
a month.... this is the 3rd starter motor to go since it was new (2000).
Pretty dodgey if you ask me, either that or mums driving round on the
starter motor... :) - could be a possibility
