Unfortunatly, here in Perth, Busses have Right of way.
One indicates once then pulls out of the bus stop, you have to give way.
It sucks, but I don't have insurance, and I need my car.

On the tail gate thing, we built years and years ago a STOP SPECIAL!!
Haa haa memories.

What is a STOP Special you ask??

It was a old banged up MORRIS MINOR, with 4 wheel disk brakes of a import scorpion bolted to it, a resister in the brake light circuit, to slow the brake lights from coming on just a little bit, formular ford slicks on all 4 corners, and just for added who cares factor a great dirty lump of rail way track welded direct to the chassis, with a chrome bumper welded to that and a old pair of recarro seats and harnesses for the front seats.

I tell you we scared a few tailgatters with that one.
Imagine 130 km's a hour and upwards down the freeway to a dead stop in less time than I wish to remember, with our harnesses ready to snap, with a brand new BMW with smoke coming of all 4 tyres locked up sideways passing us in the other lane trying to avoid us.

But officer there was a pelican in the middle of the road, I couldn't hit it.

Haa haaa.
Later.
Rick White.
