they are helpful for holding the brake lines in place when doing up the flare nut on the body lines, they really just stop it all from flopping around on the rear of the car,..i guess u could secure them to the body other ways

Hi list,
reagarding spacers that are on flexible brake lines

i have clips that hold the flexible hoses to the strut & to the body etc,
but do they need to be covered with that little spacer that i uploaded?
