Hi Errol,

Doh I was hoping you werent going to say that!! My manifold has had 
some of those fittings sheared off previously, so I had to seal them and 
use a manifold tapping - based on your info Ill have to revisit which 
ones I have access to and determine which one to use.

FYI I got the EFI setup to work last night, and despite various manifold 
leaks, inlet piping restrictions, the wrong vacuum advance as above, 
and using the standard L-jetronic computer, the engine is infinitely 
better already than the previous downdraft weber setup!!
