Mohit, mate 2" should be enough if your engine isnt overly worked.
i run motivator extractors into 2 1/2 inches main pipe with 3" muffler & tail pipe. i noticed a huge difference not in power but in "revability" when i upgraded from the original stock exhaust system.......oh & it sounds real sweet as well. if you want to go bigger than 2 1/2" you will need to enlarge the hole in the rear end that the exhaust passes through & then stiffen it up again. when your used to V8's it takes a good exhaust note from a 4 to impress ! cheers Jeff Hi terry, thanks for the spec's of the p510.anyways we have our first 1/4 mile this weekend and i got my car running last nite.got a cam from nz.i think since im using twin su's its staving on high rpm but i will be fitting in twin dellorto's before the race. ok i have 4.1:1 diff ratio what size of tyre i should use,any idea. also i have 2" exhaust pipe and a resonator at the end.is this set ok or i should get something else. -----Original Message----- From: Terry Rudd [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, February 23, 2004 12:44 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: Master Cylinder P610 SSS have the same brakes as the Japanese spec P610 Deluxe so what you have would be fine, the Japanese spec 510 & 610 even had the same size discs. A cheap disk upgrade for fronts that used on Aussie 1600's is 200B or 810 elsewhere but you need to run 14" wheels in most cases but it's well worth the upgrade as long as you can get 195/60x14 tyres. The 200B struts also lower a 1600 by around 1.5" if you use 1600 springs with the 200B legs. There will be a lot of info on the Ausdat archives (I think they are working, been a while since I've been there). A road test that I have of a stock factory 510SSS did 1/4 mile in the 17's when new and had a top speed around 105mph, a stock L16 run 18's & top speed around 100 mph. The 510 Deluxe had a 3.7 final drive but the SSS had a 3.9. Both had 4 speed gearboxes with the same ratios. The Deluxe weighed 925kg and the SSS weighed 970kg. That's about all I can tell you other than track specs etc. regards Terry -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Mohit K. You don't use an Aussie master cylinder if you can help it. If you have front drums then the first thing you do is upgrade to discs. regards Terry -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Mohit K. I'll email details of exactly what I'm using for brakes once it's finished, but I am going to need at least a 1" master cylinder. Is there a 1" that will bolt straight on? The biggest I know of is 7/8. Has anyone gone bigger than 7/8 on your 510/610, and if so what did you use? thanks! Ben --- Incoming mail is certified Virus Free.
