What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Using Xcode 4.4 (which contains Apple Clang 4.0) on OS X 10.8, try to
build memcached 1.4.14
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected successful compile but got:
clang: error: argument unused during compilation: '-pthread'
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
memcached 1.4.14 on OS X 10.8
Please provide any additional information below.
Builds fine using llvm-gcc-4.2.
