This is exactly the reason for DM, as I see it. Not only that it has the same initialls as Depeche Mode (hmmm), but, since there is already so much material available for the other one, isn't it's smart to make some for DM as well, since we are already well on the way? (Book written for DM, exercise tested on DM...) Another thing is the CORE MERB PHILOSOPHY thing: modularity, and since AR is default we should choose DM, not to be nasty but to give the other option a reasonable example. Anyway that's my opinion. I must confess that in detail I do not know them (both), but the arguments still stay, I believe.
