It turns out, after all that fun with thor, that merb_babel is still not in gems/gems, and almost nothing is in config/dependencies.rb, uncluding merb_babel. Adding it to config/dependencies.rb got rake spec down to only one failure. Looks like a spec is about to be whacked!
