Once rescued a pair of baby skunks from a downtown air conditioning unit. No mom, starving, about the size of a small mouse.
If *anybody* ever tells you they dont stink at that age, I will vociferously disagree with them. I put the clothes out in the barn, 1/8 mile from the house, and bathed me and the son (my accomplice in this act of kindness) quite well, .. we though we smelled fine. Then the wife came home. I darn near slept in the barn that night myself.
