I suspect the liberals are winning. Conservatives choose compatible
mates, but the liberals have all the single mothers spitting out
illegitimate kids and sucking on the public teat. No actual need to
know the genetic/philosophical bent of the sperm donor.

There was an interesting article that I read somewhere sometime this
past
year (I think) about a study on liberal vs. conservative political
thought
and genetics. Basically, the study found that identical twins buy a
very
large majority share political philosophy. Even when they're
separated at
birth and raised in families that have the opposite philosophy, a very
similar pattern emerged (twins would have the same political bent
most of
the time).
A follow up thought to this study was that people generally marry
someone of
similar political bent. If political bent is inherited, then
evolution or
natural selection or whatever is going to cause the population to
segregate
into political groups, and the "polarization" of America is going to
get
worse instead of better.
So, I don't think that I can change your genes via email, therefore
I'll
leave it at 'You got me - I'm a conservative who firmly believes that
liberty is impossible without property rights and capitalism works
better
than anything else'.
