I'm a senior tech for a company that makes video editing software, recently I've been supervising some kids working for us at an outsource company in Canada. The hardest thing has been teaching them to look at the simple stuff first. Just yesterday one of them was trying to help a guy figure out why his fonts didn't work. After working on it for 15 minutes he finally asked me, I had him check the fonts folder... Gee the fonts he wants aren't there, shocker.
