I only recommend the drip method, and you don't need a fancy tool, either -- just take some fuel line and cut it on a slant for the drip point.

to whit: remove delivery check valve and re-install holder. Run the hand pump slowly or use an elevated can for the fuel (either works) and rotate engine until fuel flow dramatically slows. You will know when that happens. You must have a very slow continuing drip (you should have the plunger JUST closing off the feed slot in the plunger, no higher) and that is the injection time. Should be 24 BTDC on a NA engine, 26 on a turbo.

The Benz tool for the "bubble;" method just encloses the fuel stream so it doesn't run on the ground, else it's identical. The "bubble" method using clear tubing is also the same, except you are looking for the fuel level to stop rising as the plunger covers the feed slot.
