Well, Figured out what the deal was with the AC I guess.  The 
compressor.  It turns but is stiff.  Swapped it for a good used OE one, 
changed the drier and expansion valve.  Pulled a vacuum, charged it up 
and its cooling pretty darn good.  Converted to 134 and it seems done 
the proper way it cools just fine.  My only concern is the high side 
pressure.  At idle, with temp about 95 outside, its running about 400. 
low side about 60.  Rev it up and high will peg on the guage, low will 
drop to about 40 I guess.  Other than that, it cools great, seems to 
working fine so not sure what the pressure deal is.  Seems strange since 
everything is new basically.  The aux fan does come on the low speed 
soon after ac starts.  If you jump the temp switch on the engine, it 
will kick on high, and it seems like the pressure will come down 
slightly at idle, but still goes way up with engine revved.  Going to 
see about the fuel guage and if I get that fixed Im going to drive the 
thing to work tomorrow.
