yea, I figured that out!!  I will order a new one or pull one off 
another car I guess.  Think im going to drive it to work tomorrow so it 
wont be running that long with it jumpered.  I suppose its also possible 
the wiring has resistance in it because the rats did chew completely 
thru that wire which I had to splice.  Maybe the slice is giving it some 
resistance.
