Let me offer one adjustment to what you said: There is a lunatic fringe in Islam who feel the way you suggest all of them act and believe. The extremist groups have been good at offering free 'education', including housing and board, to poor families via the Madrasas in Pakistan and Afghanistan [and probably some other places.] There are a number of them, to be sure, but Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance that has respect for women. Knock on the door of a mosque sometime and talk to the Imam. What you have presented is a bit like describing Christianity based on the KKK [it calls itself a Christian organization] or some radical Christian sect like Jim Jones. I do know some Moslems and have visited a few mosques. Give it a try. Those I know tend to be very civic minded and gentle people. BillR
