I doubt it. On my car, the lights work if I get it to just the right spot. No contact left or right of the spot but so long as it is not moved it works. My ultimate plan is to just jumper it since it is not very bright and I doubt I would ever need to turn it down from the high setting. Also wonder about swapping LED's in for the current bulbs but have not gone beyond wondering if it is a good idea.
